Zeon Limited Announces a New Exclusive Worldwide Licence for P&G Braun Clocks and Watches

October 2009

Zeon Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Herald Group; a Public Corporation quoted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, has announced a new exclusive worldwide partnership with one of P&G's leading brands, Braun. The two companies will join forces in developing and producing high-quality clocks and watches under the Braun brand. The first products will be launched at Baselworld in March 2010.

As a major force in the global clock and watch market; Zeon Limited was one of the first companies to be involved in licensing fashion and consumer brands for watches and clocks.

Richard Tibber, Managing Director of Zeon Limited in London, welcomed the collaboration:  “ We are delighted to be involved with this iconic brand. We will be developing a full range of Braun clocks and watches, and will be reintroducing some of the past designs which today have become collectables, as well as new, exciting and innovative products.”

“As much as Braun clocks and watches have become iconic products over the last three decades, they do not belong to Braun’s core business categories any more,” commented Markus Strobel, Vice President, P&G Global Braun. “To ensure that consumers worldwide will continue to be delighted with great clocks and watches under the Braun label in the future, we have made a conscious choice to partner with a strong external, highly specialized partner such as Zeon Limited. Zeon is the perfect partner to embody the design and quality that is synonymous with the renowned Braun equity.”
