Europa Star: What are your strategic priorities for 2023?
Adrian Bosshard: As a “master of materials” with extensive experience in the production of high-tech ceramic watches, our top priority is to continue to talk about the many advantages of high-tech ceramic, and to make customers feel the Rado difference, through 360° communication. The second and equally important focus this year is on staff training, to ensure a first-class customer experience at every touchpoint.

Which new products or lines will be your main focus this year?
We are proud to present the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton with our premium R808 movement. This watch combines Rado’s expertise in materials with outstanding watchmaking know-how. The second highlight, among products we’re launching in the first half of 2023, is the Centrix 2023 collection. This elegant and refined selection of watches comes with a new movement and sophisticated finishes. All our new products this year are equipped with new exciting features, including our most iconic product, the DiaStar Original. Stay tuned!

The emergence of the secondary market represents a major new development. Are you taking any steps to build a presence in preowned?
The secondary market is not a concern for Rado. Our timepieces keep their beauty and radiance for a lifetime. In many cases they hold happy memories and strong emotions, and they serve as reminders of important moments in life. We’re keeping our focus on innovation, and producing new watches.
