Announcing Geneva's 2022 Luxury Innovation Summit and Awards

The 4th edition of the Luxury Innovation Summit will take place on Thursday, 20 October 2022 physically in Geneva, online and in the Metaverse. Two legends of the industry are participating this year: Alain Dominique Perrin as the President of the 2022 Awards Jury and Stanislas de Quercize as the Chairman of the 2022 Summit.

T

he highlights of the 2022 Luxury Innovation Summit include the Luxury Innovation Awards taking place alongside the summit; a Luxury District at the venue – a space dedicated to showcase and promote innovation in the luxury industry; and the entire Summit in Metaverse with a dedicated space for brands and start-ups. Along with the physical gathering in Geneva, the Summit will allow, for the first time, VR interactions among established brands, investors and start-ups from the luxury industry in the Metaverse.

This event in Geneva will let attendees enjoy carefully selected themes on Innovation, Sustainability and Investment in luxury. As its 4th edition, this Summit has evolved and adapted to bigger audiences. Speakers will include international luxury leaders, entrepreneurs, industry insiders, and investors. Together, they will examine the evolving nature of luxury, new consumer attitudes, and what established brands and start-ups need to build and maintain relevance.

Among the topics to be discussed:

Innovation and Creativity

NFT, Metaverse, AI, VR, blockchain, new materials and devices are in a constant state of upgrade: technology’s power over the luxury and fashion world gets stronger and stronger. How should the industry harness this, and how can brands best prepare for the future?

Sustainability and Circular Economy

How can the fashion and luxury industry do more in this space? How should the industry reconcile the seeming paradox of growing sales vs sustainability and environmental considerations? What does “sustainable” mean for an industry built on desire, consumption and constant change? And what can the luxury industry – from start-up to investor, big brand to boutique – do to help encourage more diversity within its ranks?

Private Equity and Venture Capital in Luxury

The Luxury goods sector benefits from a positive structural change. This theme will discuss various opportunities for private and institutional investors to invest in luxury goods and related services. How can investment houses be better prepared to identify the investment targets – from venture capital to private equity?

The Luxury Innovative Summit and the Luxury Innovation Awards are great opportunities to highlight the innovative solutions in the what and the how of the future of luxury. A must to discover! – A must to contribute! – A must to enjoy!,” said Stanislas de Quercize.

“We are honoured to work with such exceptional living legends of the luxury industry. This announcement marks the start of the countdown to the 2022 Luxury Innovation Summit and Awards, where the brands, start-ups and investors will come together once again to be inspired by innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship that will shape the future of luxury,” said Deependra Pandey, Founder and President of the Luxury Venture Group.
