A fresh expression of the BA111OD Chapter 7 Skeleton

A fresh expression of the BA111OD Chapter 7 Skeleton

Following the launch of the Chapter 7 Skeleton last May, Swiss watchmaker BA111OD unveils a new interpretation inspired by the summer light of Neuchâtel.

F

aithful to the original model, the new timepiece retains the same architecture, movement and technical specifications. Only its expression has evolved. Now presented in its natural steel finish, the watch reveals a brighter and distinctly summery interpretation of the Chapter 7 Skeleton.

For BA111OD, Neuchâtel is far more than the place where its watches are imagined and assembled. The lake, the Jura mountains, the wind and the region’s rich watchmaking heritage have long shaped the brand’s identity and inspired its vision of contemporary Swiss watchmaking.

This new interpretation is a reflection of that connection. By replacing the anthracite PVD treatment with a natural steel finish, BA111OD plays with light and reveals a new facet of the Chapter 7 Skeleton, while preserving its architecture and identity. Available on either a steel bracelet or a frost blue rubber strap, this version subtly evokes the reflections of Lake Neuchâtel and the atmosphere of long summer days.

The campaign features Loïc Huguenin, BA111OD playmaker and Neuchâtel-based wingfoiler, who ranks among Switzerland’s leading athletes in the discipline. On his home lake, he works daily with the wind, the light and the elements. An approach that naturally echoes the values of precision, balance and control that also define watchmaking.

It is no coincidence that this story comes to life in Neuchâtel. More than a backdrop, the region is a true playground for BA111OD. It is here that the brand imagines, develops and hand-assembles each of its watches. It is also here that the inspirations behind the character of its creations are born.

With this new interpretation of the Chapter 7 Skeleton, BA111OD invites a fresh perspective on one of the collection’s signature models, shaped by the light, landscapes and distinctive way of life that define Neuchâtel.
