ith high attendance from guests, media, and content creators – and a record-breaking 31 participating brands – the fifth edition of SIAR Summer has confirmed its place not only as the leading showcase for independent watchmaking in Mexico and Latin America, but also as a cultural and social event for new generations and influencers. Held from June 10 to 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mexico City, the event featured key first-half launches, iconic timepieces, world premieres, and exclusive pieces created especially for local collectors and enthusiasts.

“In a year marked by caution in international markets due to geopolitical uncertainty, Mexico’s watch community responded to SIAR Summer with strong results for most brands. This event served as the first major test of 2025, and we now see a promising outlook for the second half of the year,” said Carlos Alonso, CEO of SIAR.

Launched in 2021 as a pop-up solution during the pandemic, SIAR Summer has since established itself as the highly anticipated summer gathering on the Mexican watch calendar. It is organised by SIAR LATAM (Salón Internacional Alta Relojería), one of the most prestigious luxury and watchmaking events in the region, which will host its 19th edition in October 2025.

The 31 brands that took part in this fifth edition were: Angelus, Arnold & Son, Artime, Bell & Ross, Buben & Zorweg, Cuervo y Sobrinos, Cvstos, De Bethune, Franck Muller, Gerald Charles, Grand Seiko, Greubel Forsey, H. Moser & Cie., Hautlence, HYT, Jaquet Droz, Kross Studio, L’Épée, Lederer, Louis Erard, Louis Moinet, Manufacture Royale, Maurice Lacroix, Mauron Musy, Nivada Grenchen, Norqain, Perrelet, Pecqueur, Raymond Weil, Ressence, and Speake-Marin.

One of the most anticipated highlights of SIAR Summer 2025 was the debut of Lederer, Mauron Musy, Nivada Grenchen, and Ressence, each offering distinct creative visions that reflect the diversity of independent horology. Visitors responded enthusiastically, and the representatives of these debuting brands expressed surprise at the deep knowledge and passion of the Mexican public.
