atchfinder & Co. opens its doors in La Vallée Village, becoming the first ever pre-owned retailer to take up permanent residence in France’s renowned luxury shopping destination.
This debut not only marks Watchfinder’s continued growth in France but also highlights the broader transformation reshaping the luxury retail landscape, as discerning consumers increasingly embrace the circular economy.
Much like the rise of resale and rental in fashion, Watchfinder & Co. is at the forefront of this shift in the watch sector - building trust and expanding access to an exceptional selection of authenticated and expertly prepared pre-owned luxury watches globally.
The new boutique will showcase an ever-changing collection of over 400 meticulously authenticated timepieces, spanning seven decades of watchmaking excellence - from brands including Rolex, Omega and Cartier through to TAG Heuer, Breitling and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Each watch has undergone Watchfinder’s rigorous 60-step inspection, authentication and preparation process - carried out by their team of accredited watchmakers in Europe’s largest independent service centre.
The new boutique will be more than a destination to shop – it will be a hub for circularity where customers can also sell or trade-in their own watches. On-the-spot valuations will make the process as seamless as possible, offering customers a trusted and transparent way to review and refresh their collections and keep exceptional timepieces in circulation.
Adrien Fourlegnie, Watchfinder & Co.’s French Country Manager, commented: “Our arrival at La Vallée Village marks a true milestone - not only for Watchfinder, but for luxury retail in France. As the first pre- owned retailer to open in the Village, we’re proud to be pioneering this space and demonstrating the growing appeal, and appreciation for, pre-owned luxury.
France has long celebrated the artistry of watchmaking, and with this new boutique we’re making exceptional timepieces more accessible once again. La Vallée Village offers the perfect setting for customers to engage with our experts and discover these remarkable watches in person.”
Founded in 2002 and acquired by Richemont in 2018, Watchfinder & Co. has grown into the world’s leading resource for pre-owned luxury watches, with a global online presence and 18 showrooms and boutiques across eight markets.
