Tourneau to relocate it’s original NYC location to Macklowe Properties’ new architecturally distinctive, environmentally conscious tower.
Tourneau, LLC, the world’s largest watch store as recognized by Guinness World Records and the undisputed authority in the watch industry, has announced plans to relocate its original New York City store to a larger space in the striking, environmentally conscious, 30-story glass office building being developed by Macklowe Properties.
The store, which will feature a Rolex boutique, is scheduled to open in early 2009 and will be a stellar addition to Tourneau’s three other Manhattan locations.
Strategically positioned on the ground floor of the new, architecturally distinctive tower, the new Tourneau store will occupy approximately 3,300 square feet. The space, which will feature 25 foot high ceilings and expansive floor to ceiling vision glass to maximize natural light, will provide a spectacular setting in which to showcase Tourneau’s collection of more than 8,000 unique men’s and ladies’ fine timepieces from over 100 famous brands such as Cartier, Breguet, TAG Heuer, Breitling and Tourneau’s own brand line, Tourneau Timepieces.
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome one of the world’s most respected and recognizable retailers to our building,” stated William Macklowe, Chairman and CEO of Macklowe Properties.
Tourneau has always been committed to providing an incomparable selection of quality products and superior customer service. In addition, Tourneau is authorized by the manufacturers to service and repair every major watch brand it carries and will do so onsite at its new store.
