he SEW Salon of Exceptional Watches attracted a record 4,200 visitors who did not miss the show of approximately 60 brands from all over the world - from Czech icons Prim and Robot to international legends Arnold & Son, Bell & Ross and Franck Muller.
The highlight of the exhibition was a diamond unique piece by the Geneva master Antoine Preziuso worth a quarter of a billion crowns. However, the greatest success was achieved by the Prague duo Prokop & Brož, who won the Watch of the Year 2025 award for their Laurin & Klement 130 Limited Edition models.
This year, media interest also attracted significant attention - a number of Czech and foreign journalists arrived at Žofín to capture the atmosphere of the exhibition and present it across the press, online media and television. The response to the event thus went far beyond the watchmaking community.
The program included live demonstrations of watchmaking, engraving, and hand production, as well as popular expert lectures. The prestigious Horological Creativity Contribution Award this year was received by talented watchmaker Pim Koeslag, known for his planetary complications for the Christiaan van der Klaauw brand and the development of movements for the Frederique Constant brand.
It is already certain that SEW 2026 will build on this year’s success - several major brands that were not present this year have confirmed their participation, but their names remain a secret for now.
The SEW Salon confirmed once again that it is more than an exhibition - it is a place where precision, passion, and luxury meet. Anyone who was not there missed out on a unique atmosphere that stirred not only the heart of watches, but also the whole of Prague.
The SEW Watch Fair was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Among the main partners were Komerční banka with its premium banking program KB Premium, the Audi car manufacturer in conjunction with the Auto Jarov dealership, and the company Nová Dubaj offering properties at prestigious addresses in the United Arab Emirates. The VIP evening featured exceptional wines from the Dunajovské kopce wine association. Other partners also included Aria Pura, Dictador, Manemo, Ples jako Brno, and AZ Servis.
